IHSS and WPCS Provider(san leandro)

Caregiver Position Available We are currently seeking a qualified caregiver for a 90-year-old female patient with advanced dementia and blindness. Requirements: Must be a registered provider with In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) and Waiver Personal Care Services (WPCS). Must have a valid provider ID number issued by Alameda County and the State of California. Must provide a valid California driver’s license or California state ID. Must speak Shanghainese (Chinese dialect). Must have mid-level to advanced caregiving skills and relevant experience, especially in caring for elderly patients with advanced dementia. Job Responsibilities: Feeding and monitoring during meals (with attention to choking prevention). Changing diapers and assisting with toileting. Assisting with bathing and personal hygiene. Ensuring medications are taken on time and picking up prescriptions from the local pharmacy. Providing companionship, including reading and conversation. Assisting with walking and light exercise. Preparing appropriate meals. Cleaning the patient’s bed and room. Scheduling and accompanying the patient to medical appointments. Maintaining constant supervision and ensuring the patient’s safety at all times. Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (3 hours per day) Compensation: $21.60 per hour
