Semi Skilled carpenter / painter Labor helper(san jose downtown)

Semi skilled laborer wanted Looking for a steady part time/ full time helper Good physical condition and fast working . While many skills will be taught the job will primarily be cleaning , painting, sanding , digging holes , foundation prep , lifting / moving construction materials , raking debris , painting ,weeding, janitorial , handyman , finish moldings , door hanging ,finish plumbing , etc . Work is mostly in San Jose but we travel occasionally to Santa Cruz to work on rentals and to San Francisco to check on boats about every other week . Master craftsman owner works on boats and rental properties as needed . Helpful and preferred if you have your own car and basic tools . Smoke and drug free worksite with random testing . Work day is typically 9:30-4 - perfect to beat the commutes or pick up the kids - longer days occasionally if appropriate for work needs . This is regular payroll- no cash under the table - please don’t ask or expect us to break the labor laws . Payday is every two weeks . Pay DOE $20 -28 per hour .
